Freaky Fashion

As I said in my first post, I am a tomboy. Which means that I dress very similar to a boy. The difference between me and the boys in my crew is that I wear a lot of accessories, such as earrings. I usually wear oversized t-shirts and I buy my trousers in stores for boys. Sometimes people give me weird looks, but usually they thinkit's cool that I am brave enough to show who I am through my clothes. I get a lot of attention for it but I like it anyway.

My favorite accessories are earrings, because they can make an average outfit stylish. There are many different shapes, sizes and colours. My absolute favourite earrings are big, round and shiny. They make everything look a lot better. There are also many different styles of earrings, such as small pearls, small and round earrings, big round earrings, and other creative shapes (for example owls or hearts).

The island

- What is the massage of the film regarding the value of human life? How does it work with the fact that the film also contains a lot of violence?

I would actually say that the value of human life is not so positive in this movie. 

In the film most of the people that have payed for the products, didn’t know that they looked like humans and lived like humans. The reason Dr Merrick didn't what to show that to the rest of the world just because he knew that real people have feelings, and would probably look at it as a crime to make new people and then just kill them. That’s why he is telling his customers that they are just products and that they can’t feel. The people are not aver of what is actually happening and you can’t tell if they would stop being sponsors or if they wouldn't care if they knew,  because people are selfish and don't want to die, an example is Tom Lincoln. He got to know the secret that Dr Merrick have kept for so long but still wanted to hand Lincoln (6 Echo) and Jordan (2 Delta) in. 

I think the audience should react to what Tom did and think about it, what would they do? Because unfortunately there are more selfish people on this world then caring people, that’s why i think it is not a positive value on the humans but a very true though. 

I think the violence is to both mark that the barbarity in the real world is growing and what it could lead to, and to show that the good will always win. Even if it’s almost impossible you just have to believe in it. The most violence were between the products and the workers they had their own war, the workers wanted to still have a business. They wnated to have the products unknowing about the world so they could keep them in order without trouble. You could see at the end that all that talk the workers had with the products about how special they were was not true they didn’t care about them, they could kill the products without event thinking about it twice. Which again leeds to our real world. You can never know who is your real friend or who will just stick a knife in your back when they get a chance. 

- What does Jordan mean when she says, ”The island is real. It’s us.”  What, if anything, is this saying about the human hope for some paradise or heaven?

When Jordan (2 Delta says)  ”The island is real. It’s us.”  She and Lincoln (6 Echo) had fallen in love for the first time. They never knew what love was before they felt it. But they recognised the feeling from the lottery, when they hoped to be chosen to go to the island. 

The operators always told the products how beautiful the island were and in that way, even if the workers didn’t knew, they learned the products how to hope and feel. They made them just like humans, they could love but they just didn’t understand that they had the ability to do that. Everyone was so happy every time they won, they felt blessed to finally be chosen and that is almost the same feeling as love. You are blessed to be loved and to be able to love back and that is our real paradise and heaven. I think that Jordan 2 Delta told  the world the truth about love, sometimes you just think your partner is the best but  he isn’t a real paradise, but anyhow you will always find your own paradise that will give you freedom and happiness. 

"The curious incident of the dog in the night-time" Summerize

Christopher is fifteen years old and has Aspergers’s syndrome. He doesn’t like when people touch him. He has never gone further than the end of the road on his own, but when he saw this terrifying thing, his fear of going further was gone...

It was 7 minutes after midnight, his neighbors dog was lying in the middle of the lawn with a garden fork right through his body. Christopher couldn’t believe it, the dog was dead. He ran over to the dog and hugged him. The dog was still warm and covered with blood. Christopher really liked dogs. He always knew what they wanted because they just had four moods, happy, sad, cross and concentrating. Also, dogs are very faithful and they don't tell lies. 

Christopher hugged the dog for five minutes, when suddenly the owner of the dog, Mrs Shears, ran out from the house. She started screaming at Christopher and he got very scared. He put his hands on his ears , closed his eyes and rolled forward till he was hunched up with his forehead pressed onto the grass. Now he couldn't hear her screaming anymore. The grass was wet and cold, Christopher enjoyed it. 

He heard some noise coming from the street. He looked up and saw the police coming. He liked the police, they have uniforms and they always do what they are meant to do. 

One of the policemen came up to Christopher. He started asking questions about the dog. 

And there was one question that Christopher wanted to give a good  answer to, but he just couldn't get it out of his mouth. It was the answer to the question ”Why were you holding the dog?” The policeman got impatient and asked forcefully ”Did you kill the dog

?”

Christopher got very stressed and rolled back onto the lawn and pressed his forehead to the ground, but this time he also made a noise called groaning to stop all the sounds from the outside. 

Suddenly the policeman took hold of Christophers arm and lifted him onto his feet. Christopher didn’t like when people touched him, and that was when he hit the policeman. 

"The streets" Summerize

”The street of a city can be a battlefield, in this story Richard Wrights about how his mother thought him how to survive in such a street.”

The boy was very hungry and he complained about it all the time. But his mother sad that he need to wait. He looked at his mother and sad again ”I am hungry”. She answered ”where is your father?” the boy knew that it was his father that always brought food home, but his father wasn’t there anymore and because of that the boy knew he won't get any food. 

The days passed and the boy was more and more hungry, finally his mother found a job and gave them a lot of bread. But the boys were alone in the apartment all day and then their mother came back she was tired and unhappy. She learned them very soon how to take care of them selfs and one day she asked the older soon to go to the grocery and buy food. The boy did as his mother told him, but on the way to the grocery he meet a gang. They knocked him down took his note, his basket and the money from his mother and sen him running home in panic. When he came back home his mother asked him what happened and why he don't have the groceries that she asked for. The boy told her everything, but she sad ”Go on and don't pay attention to them”. The same thing happened one more time but this time when the boy was back home his mother wouldn't let him in until he had the groceries she asked for. She gave him a new basket some more money and a long heavy stick. This time when the gang came close he could protect himself and it worked the gang run away. He finally understood what just happened, he took his note and went to the store proud and happy as never. 

Character tracer

The main character is a 15 years old woman. She goes to a boarding school, St. Martin’s school, in Africa where her mother and father teach. The main character is the only white pupil in that school. She really likes going to school, and being with her friends. Sometimes she even forgets that she is white, which shows that she feels very comfortable there. She doesn’t sleep or live in her parents’ house, she lives with her friends in a dormitory. 

The girl is in love with a boy that is also in her school. His name is Gift. Everytime he runs by, her heart starts to beat twice as fast as normal. 

He is two years older then she is. Gift is tall, strong and very handsome. The only problem with him is that he is engaged with another girl. When the main character finds out that he is engaged, she becomes very sad. Suddenly, she doesn’t know what to say to him anymore. She starts to wonder why he actually asked her to come with him to his house. Before, she was sure that he loved her, but now she is not sure anymore. She decides that she will come over it and learn more about Africa instead.

Emma couldn't stand this anymore she decided that she couldn't be afraid for ever. So she went to the police and the detective. She showed them the messages that she got. They read them carefully. After 10 minutes they went to a separate room and started to talk. 

- That is a serious crime, said detective Wilden.

- Yes I know, but how are we going to find out who seended them? asked the police.

- Well, let me think, answered the detective. 

- I know! screamed the detective with a flame in his eyes. 

- Tell me, sad the police, when rolling his eyes. 

- I have a friend who is a phone genius, he can find anything that has to do with a phone. Even a human..

- That is great, said the police officer. 

Booth of them walked happy, of they conversation and the news they had for Emma, out of the door. Then suddenly the police officer stopped detective Wilden in the door. He bend down and whispered..

-Could you do me a favor? 

- Sure whats up brother, laughed the detective. 

- This is serious, when you say the news to the lady don't say it with so much entusiasm like you did to me, that is not professional. 

The detective looked the police officer in the eye and than just walked out without saying any word. 

-Well miss, we have good news!

After teeling the whole plan to Emma they decided to send detective Wildens friend detective Stone to be with her everytime until the mission was done, it was all for safety.  

A week after the meeting with the police officer and the detectiv, they did find out who was sending the messages. It was Simon, he wanted a pay back after  the break. They closed the man in jail for a year and Emma did never get the messages again. But she was still scared to get them so she decided to move out and live in her dream country, Australia. So she could get as far away as possible  from all the treats and problems. 

She did the right thing, because she never got the treats again and she found a boy who did propose to her and they are getting married! 

Dear diary..

I hade a special day. 

Me an my family moved to a new town Angelus. On the way to the house a police stopped us. My dad walked out with no wories. After my dad and the police had a talk, the police got to know that my dad is his new boss. So we asked the plice to show us the way to our new home. I really thougth it is going to be bad, but not that bad ass it was. Wen we walked in my mum tried to chear us up with her good humor, but we all knew that it was terible. After we took a round a round the house we decided to go to my high school to writte me in. I was really scared, after some small troubles with writting in I needed to do just one more thing. Then i meet the moust beautiful girl I ever seen. I never meet a girl that made me forgett how to say dad and house. I foold my self out completly. After this awful expirience, i decided to take a surfing tour. I was perfect until i feel and I hurt my self in the balls. It hurted so much. A guy helpped me home were my supportive family waited on my to make jokes. That is my fabulouse day.

The empty school.

The weather was really awful in the morning, but then in the afternoon the sun came out. The teachers gave the pupils an extra half an hour free time in the dinner hour. The three friends were sitting on top of a wall in the school yard, waiting for the bell to ring. Martin noticed that the bell never rang and he wondered, what’s going on? He went into the building and saw that no one was there. He called for his friends to go inside and look with him. They couldn’t  find anyone in the classrooms, so they took a look in the staff room. Neither did they find anyone there, so they went on to the principal's room. Still there was no one there. But they saw something strange, the window was open. They checked the staff dining room, but all they found there was half-eaten meals on the plates. They decided to search for the teachers everywhere, but noone was there...

 Hello Lina

I always celebrate Christmas with the whole family. We start with wishing everyone in the family to have a good year. After that are we going to the table to start to eat. We always have 12 dishes, everyone must eat from all of the dishes. We sit around the table and have a really good time. When we are done with eating, all of us move to the Cristmas tree. It’s always the youngest of the family who hands out the presents, the past years it was I and my sister, but now it’s I and my cousin. He is just 3 years old so he needs help. We start to give a present to the oldest in the family. After the presents we start to sing Christmas songs, and we have a very good time all of the night.

- The text takes place in the basement wich is in the school.

- There were 3 kids that came to a new school, and the janitor asked them to help him with some cleaning down in the basement and then the kids found a skeleton in there and then they found out who the skelleton was. 

What makes this text scary?

- It was the skeleton.

The haunted doll

Once upon a time there was a little girl who moved to a house with her parents. The family found a doll in the cellar. The doll soon became the girls favourite. The girl didn’t know much about the doll. It seemd to be a normal and good doll, but she had a scary past.  Her privious owner died in a fire that destroyed the house and everything in it but the doll. Then she turned to an evil doll. The thing with the doll was that she was almost immortal. The only thing that could kill her was fire.  The doll had a strong feeling for revenge and decided to get rid of her new owner.  

One night the doll started to talk. She told the girl to go away and never come back, because if she comes back the doll would have to kill her. The girl was really scared, she ran away to her parents. So they came to tell her that it was just a dream. 

But next night the girl told her parents to sleep with her.

And then the doll started to talk again. The parents started to scream and threw the doll away out into the dark and cold night. But it didn’t help because the doll got back in the room just as fast as she was thrown out. They didn’t know what to do, but then they found a little book in the dolls hand. There it was written that the doll can only die in a fire. But not any fire, it must be a house on fire.

The parents didn’t want the doll to live anymore so next morning they decided to start a fire. They put the doll inside of the house, and they put the house on fire. When the house burned down they saw ghosts comimg from the fire. 

Luckily the doll was now gone, but unfortunatly the house too.

The family moved into their old house and lived happily ever after, and they never bought a doll again.

The gang and I were thinking if we can come and visit you in London it would be so nice to see everything in London and maby we can visit Oxford to!
